 Speaker Support Applications now Accepted for Summer-Fall Programs

Speaker Support Awards (previously called Speaker Stipend Awards) provide support for continuing education activities that focus on pediatric nutrition.  The application deadline for activities to be held between July 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012 is April 15, 2012.  Mail the cover sheet with attachments to the PNPG administrative assistant, or submit electronically through the PNPG website.  Note:  Applications postmarked or received after April 15, 2012, as well as incomplete applications, will not be considered

Eligibility Criteria:  Only PNPG members are eligible to apply for a Speaker Support Award as members of the conference or event planning committee.  The speaker does not have to be an RD or a PNPG member.

The purpose of the Speaker Support Program is:

• To promote the presentation of topics in pediatric nutrition at professional workshops, conferences and seminars throughout the United States.
• To provide financial support to organizations for qualified health professionals to present topics in pediatric nutrition at professional meetings.
• To support pediatric nutrition education opportunities for PNPG members at the regional level.

To apply, submit the completed application (found at www.pnpg.org) to the Administrative Assistant listed below either by mail or electronically.
