Pediatric Experts Needed to Review Pediatric Nutrition Care Manual

The American Dietetic Association is seeking additional qualified content reviewers for its Pediatric Nutrition Care Manual (Editor in Chief: Beth Leonberg), an online diet manual following the format of the Nutrition Care Manual®.

Criteria for reviewers are as follows:

  • Registered Dietitian with a Master’s degree or above
  • Certification is preferred (CSP); or for example, Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) is preferred for authors of the diabetes chapter
  • Ability to analyze and apply research to patients and practice
  • 5+ years recent pediatric clinical practice experience preferred
  • Competence in Internet and email use
  • Access to current software including Windows 2000/Mac OS X or later; Safari, Firefox, or Internet Explorer 6.0 or later; antivirus and firewall protection
 

Topics for this manual will largely follow those included in the Pediatric Manual of Clinical Dietetics. Reviewing will be done online approximately during May and June 2009. Reviewers are given a complimentary one-year subscription to the manual when it launches in Spring 2010.
