Pediatric Weight Management Webinar - Now Available for Member Viewing

The "Pediatric Weight Management:  Nutrition Assessment and Intervention Strategies" webinar as sponsored by PNPG and WMDPG and presented by Paula Mrowczynski-Hernandez, RD, LD and Shelley Kirk, PhD, RD, LD is now available on the PNPG website for member viewing.  It will be archived on the webisite for 1 year.

The webinar discusses nutrition assessment tools used for overweight and obese children as well as different communication and education strategies for counseling children and their caregivers about weight management. 

PNPG members can access the webinar, download the handouts, and take the post-test for CEU credit by following these steps:

1.  Log on to the PNPG website using your last name and ADA number.

2.  Click the "my courses" on the left hand side of the screen.

3.  Scroll to the bottom of your "my courses" page and under the heading of webinars, click on the Pediatric Weight Management title.

4.  You will now be connected to the page that provides the link to view the webinar, obtain the handouts, and take the post-test.
