liquefied in a blender and bolus fed through a
gastrostomy tube (g-tube) as an alternative to
commercial formula, such as PediaSure® or
Compleat Pediatric®. Homemade tube feeding
may replace some or all bolus feeds, depending
on the family’s preferences. |

After attending the Public Policy Workshop in Washington last March,
I learned a great deal about what ADA does to represent members’ interests.
As we move forward into a new year, I want to share how ADA can
work with us in the Pediatric Nutrition Practice Group and make a difference
in improving nutrition for infants, children and adolescents. |

update on using infant formula based on the Centers for Disease
