6Network Representative Report
Ginger Carney, RD, LDN, IBCLC, RLC, FILCA
As part of my duties as the PNPG Network Representative to ILCA, I was fortunate to attend the Annual Meeting of the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA). The meeting took place in Las Vegas, Nevada, on July 23-27, 2008. This year, my goal has been to bring our organizations even closer together as we propose to establish a formal alliance between the American Dietetic Association and the U.S. Lactation Consultant Association (the official U.S. chapter of the international organization).
